Why Vegan Weight Training is Different When You Don't Eat Meat or Dairy

Vegan fitness is slightly different from a standard fitness program because a good fitness plan with guaranteed results relies on the right diet. I use the 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% good fats to get results for my clients. This level of protein consumption for many vegans is hard to achieve. But, it doesn't have to be. Plants are really high in protein and beans and pulses offer significantly higher reusable amounts of protein than meat does. For any vegan diet to be supreme to that of a meat-based diet it has to contain at least one cup of beans daily. This raises your protein levels significantly and provides lots of macro nutrients too. FITNESS TRAINING If you think I don’t know where you’ve been or where you are at this point in your journey you are very wrong. I've spent hours and hours doing endless cardio, drinking nothing but water and eating veg, rice and beans, only to have crashed and burned because I'm so tired that the three hours a day training sessions I carry out on a bulking up diet have worn me out. After achieving the perfect figure I went back to my normal lifestyle and put the fat back on! I gained back the weight until I couldn’t fit into my clothes. It was upsetting and I sat there wondering how it could have happened, how I could have let it happen and how I could fix it. It happened quite easily. I was working in a dead-end job with people I didn't enjoy working with this contributed significantly to the problems at hand, so I changed it. It took years to get back to feeling healthy and happy and to feel good in my own skin again. By keeping my workouts on track, eating home-cooked food, and lifting heavyweights I started to reverse the damage. Lifting weights helped me to achieve much more than cardio ever did, but combined they work miracles. I very quickly learnt that it's the mindset that makes all the difference to the results you gain. How you feel about YOU can make or break your change and transformation. As a personal trainer, I offer different types of training sessions that are designed to suit a specific issue. Whether it's a lack of movement due to an injury, weight gain, lack of balance or poor posture or simply a different training routine I can provide a tailored program just for you. OVER 60'S TRAINING
Each week I undertake several lifestyle training classes that are designed to get you into optimal shape, both mentally and physically. I provide online training and coaching sessions, one-to-one coaching sessions, personal training sessions either in your own home, outdoors or in a gym.
