Product Review

This book is an excellent read. If you have no knowledge at all in the areas of fitness, nutrition and mindset it serves as a great intro, explaining all the basics. The book builds on this information with further explanations of key concepts and why a certain method works over another, making it helpful to someone with experience or not in the field of fitness and nutrition. Brian's use of himself as an example (struggles he encountered and how he overcame them) throughout the book makes the book an enjoyable read.

The book is short and sweet so not to bore you or ramble on too much but is also packed full of excellent advice for training, eating the right stuff at the right times to optimise gains or fat loss and also for setting goals. It has a section about dealing with adversity and using stoicism.

This book is really a great source of information, particularly for someone just starting out in the gym or on a fitness quest. Or for someone who has no idea where to start.

Brian keeps everything to the point and doesn't ramble, and the book reads like a mix between a blog and a science paper, which lets you learn a lot without being bored silly.
